Тема: Какими писателями знаменита твоя страна?

Цель: формирование лексических навыков.

Objectives:

Vocabulary: a writer, a novel, to inspire, to publish, to die.

Listening: text about Charles Dickens

Reading: an article about famous writer (matching)

Writing: examples of the Past Tenses

Задачи урока:

Воспитательные: воспитание толерантности к иноязычной культуре, применение теоретических знаний на практике, развитие познавательного интереса к предмету, использование практических знаний в области информационных технологий с применением компьютера.

Образовательные: ознакомление учащихся с возможностями использовать информационные технологии и навыки письма.

Обучающие: развитие грамматических навыков, развитие навыков монологической речи, закрепление навыков произношения, прослушивания, чтения и перевода текста, формирование языковой компетенции.

Развивающие: научить умению логически мыслить, развивать монологическую речь, закрепить умение наблюдать, сравнивать, сопоставлять, анализировать оценивать других, умение работать индивидуально и в коллективе.

Тип урока: урок изучения нового материала.

Вид урока: смешанный.

Оборудование и материалы: ПК, мультимедийный проектор, раздаточный материал для игр, презентация Power PointCharles Dickens”.

Ход урока

I.                  Инициализация урока

Приветствие учителя, краткое сообщение цели и задачи урока. Учащиеся записывают дату и тему урока «FamousBritish writers» в тетради.

Teacher- Good morning, students! Sit down, please. Are you ready? Let’s begin our English lesson. Today we will dip into the world of literature, we will meet some famous British writers, we’ll learn new words. We’ll listen to the text about Charles dickens and read biography of Agatha Christie. I want you to practice your writing skills. Open your notebooks and write down the date and the theme of our lesson.

   II. Фонетическая разминка.

T- Let’s start with grammar. The first task for you is on the blackboard. Give the third form of the verbs.

III.            Речевая разминка

T- Before we start our talk about literary let us revise some grammar. Read the necessary information on p. 240-242 in your books and ask me questions if you have any. Open your Activity Books. Let’s do exercise 5 on page 10. I give you two minutes to discuss the sentences in pairs.

T – Now we will check up the task. One of you will read the sentence, another one will say if it is correct.

IV.             Основной этап

T- Now open your book at page 10, exercise 1. One of the most famous British writers is Charles Dickens. Listen to the text. Use the word Box on p. 11 to learn the meaning of some words.

T- I am going to sum up. Today we speak about famous British writers. We learnt new words describing their biography. We listened to the recording and practiced writing skills. Also you answered my questions and saw a computer presentation. I think our English lesson was full of information which you can use. Have you got any questions?
